For the Children’s Museum of Denver
The Joy Park Outdoor exhibit is a huge experience that is comprised of several themed moments throughout. I was responsible for maintaining, upgrading and designing new elements throughout this exhibit.
Water Wheel
Responsible for fully redesigning the look and function of the Water Wheel element. A fun, interactive element in Joy Park that can keep kids cool in the summer while helping them learn about the physics of water.
Rumble Chair
Responsible for fully designing and installing this unique take on a chair. A hidden and surprising element inside Adventure Forest moves to the beat of any audio playing through it. Another form of sensory exploration within the art adventure that is Adventure Forest.
Leaf Bridge
Responsible for fully designing, building and installing this all-weather plank bridge. Previous versions of this bridge required too much upkeep and would become dangerously slippery when wet. My design included non-slip pads inlaid in the wood for great traction and longevity.
Adventure Forest
Responsible for maintaining and updating elements within this incredibly complex and unique exhibit. From performing safety checks, to fixing cosmetic and functional pieces, and occasionally adding in new designs.
